During Vinexpo, Angélus invited a number of trade professionals and journalists for a prestige dinner, prepared by the Chef of the Saint-Emilion restaurant Logis de la Cadène, Alexandre Baumard. This evening at Angélus was made even more magical with choreographic features by bubble dancers.
From 10th to 16th June, Angélus was displayed on Bordeaux city centre billboards, reminding all of the exceptional 2012 vintage bottle.
Hubert de Boüard de Laforest delivered a presentation at the 55th Oenologists of France National Congress entitled “The oenologist as a creator of value through refinement”.
Benoît Maire was born in 1978 in Pessac, near Bordeaux. Today he lives in Paris. He was brilliant at school with a great capacity for science and mathematics, the influence of which can be seen in his artistic work. He then specialised in philosophy and aesthetics. As an artist he positions his work with regard to art history and mixes different periods. His works are characteristically tautologous with representations combined with conceptual inventions against a backdrop of philosophical thinking around the question of chance. The works carried out especially for Angélus result from a meeting with the Boüard de Laforest family. On 26th May, Angélus hosted the skippers of the Solitaire du Figaro sailing race. The Saint-Emilion Jurade took this opportunity to induct Alain Gautier, the winner of the 1989 Solitaire du Figaro and the 1992-1993 Vendée Globe Challenge.

At the end of May, Angélus was delighted to welcome the famous basketball player Tony Parker, who plays point guard for the San Antonio Spurs and was captain of the French national team. This special occasion was celebrated with a gourmet meal, specially prepared by the chef of the Saint-Emilion restaurant Logis de la Cadène.
Emmanuelle d’Aligny-Fulchi led an Angélus tasting in Madrid for thirty sommeliers from starred restaurants and chaired an Angélus dinner organised by the Commanderie de Bordeaux.
On 21st May, Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal officiated at the Angélus dinner of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Washington and was inducted alongside the Ambassador of France as a Chapter member.
