THE CODE HAS CHANGED

A dinner is like a dictatorship of appearances: you dress up, you laugh, you tell stories, you show off, you share memories and projects. Anxiety is hidden behind humour and sorrow is muffled in gales of laughter. And for just a few hours, you go along with it. And that’s key. If you have the right code and respect others, cordiality, hypocrisy, good humour, you can enjoy a great evening. But the masks fall on the way home.

CONCERT JIL AIGROT

La vie en Rose

On 15th September, about 200 guests heard Edith Piaf singing her all-time greats through the fabulous voice of Jil Aigrot. “La Vie en Rose” was a concert packed with nostalgia and emotion, which still echoes in the Angélus cellars. Jil Aigrot covers the singing voice of Edith Piaf in Olivier Dahan’s wonderful film “La Vie en Rose”, which was honoured with the Oscar awarded to Marion Cotillard, who plays Piaf. This fine film features Château Angélus in a scene shot in a New York restaurant.
