Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal and Victoire Touton represented Château Angélus at the 35th Wine Spectator's New York Wine Experience, the event that attracts seasoned connoisseurs seeking
the most outstanding wines in the world.
Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal officiated at a private Angélus dinner at Amuse Bouche, a French restaurant in Hong Kong, which is reputed for its outstanding wine cellar with some of the best wines in the world. During the dinner collectors were able to taste several vintages of Château Angélus.
Angélus, having sponsored the 2015 class of the National Oenologist’s Diploma course, hosted the graduation ceremony for about fifty students from Bordeaux’s Wine and Vine Science Institute.
Angélus welcomed Bernard Burtschy’s “wine dream team” consisting of French and non-French journalists for a tasting of the 2012 and 2011 vintages of Château Angélus.
During Vinexpo, Angélus invited a number of trade professionals and journalists for a prestige dinner, prepared by the Chef of the Saint-Emilion restaurant Logis de la Cadène, Alexandre Baumard. This evening at Angélus was made even more magical with choreographic features by bubble dancers.
From 10th to 16th June, Angélus was displayed on Bordeaux city centre billboards, reminding all of the exceptional 2012 vintage bottle.
Hubert de Boüard de Laforest delivered a presentation at the 55th Oenologists of France National Congress entitled “The oenologist as a creator of value through refinement”.
On 26th May, Angélus hosted the skippers of the Solitaire du Figaro sailing race. The Saint-Emilion Jurade took this opportunity to induct Alain Gautier, the winner of the 1989 Solitaire du Figaro and the 1992-1993 Vendée Globe Challenge.
