Inauguration of Logis de la Cadène

Logis de la Cadène welcomed its first guests on Monday 3rd March.

The restaurant was recently acquired by Château Angélus and a fresh, young, enthusiastic team has been introduced to present a new menu for the 2014 season, which will be served in its three lounges and on the terrace that have all been recently renovated. A new chef, Alexandre Baumard, now officiates in the kitchen. Alexandre learned his trade alongside Benoit Vidal at Mas des Herbes Blanches, Paul Bocuse at l’Auberge du Pont de Collonges, Christophe Bacquié at Hôtel du Castellet and Laurent Saudeau at Manoir de la Boulaie. The gourmet dishes on offer are in tune with today’s trends, reflecting the family brasserie style with traditional delights prepared with good local produce and a modern twist. The wine list features almost 400 wines with a fine representation of Bordeaux, but Burgundy, Côtes du Rhône, Loire, Alsace and Champagne are also offered as well as wines from South Africa, Italy, Germany, Lebanon, the U.S., Spain, Chile and Thailand. An amazing choice of reasonably priced wines as well as a few treasures cannot fail to incite guests to share some intriguing bottles.
