With a black cap presenting the family crest, the 2012 bottle has replaced its traditional paper label with an imprint in embossed gold. The precious alloy adorns the glass, bestows its radiance and enhances the bell and surrounding facing, the emblem of Angélus. All of the 2012 harvest, currently maturing and to be delivered in autumn 2014 will have these impressive bottles, available partly in a limited edition of large capacity bottles, ranging from magnum to imperial.
Château Angélus strives to achieve ever higher standards. Its constant aspiration is to be on a par with the confidence of its connoisseurs and wishes to thank them with this remarkable bottle.
Embossed gold, a complex production process: A first enamel imprint is fired at 600°C before vitrifying to become entirely part of the glass. It is then covered with a gold print that undergoes a second firing at 500°C, during which the gold totally adheres to the layer of enamel. The decoration is completed by brushing which reveals the delicacy and radiance of the genuine 21.7 carat gold.
