On the occasion of a dinner organized for the launch of the Primeurs tasting week the 31st of March, Angélus hosted 150 guests -among them négociants, importers, distributors and journalists.

The worldwide launch of the new cinematic documentary series “Wine Masters” was on 18th March. The series tells the stories of terroir, taste and tradition as expressed by some of the most prestigious winegrowing families in different winegrowing regions.
To add depth to each season, two Masters of Wine, Jeannie Cho Lee and Tim Atkin, will share their knowledge and critical opinions of these regions, their grape varieties, terroirs, wines and wine producers.
Wine Masters Season 1 highlights five French winegrowing regions. It was filmed over the course of a year in the most prominent family-owned winegrowing estates.
In Bordeaux the Merlot and Cabernet Franc story is told by the Boüard de Laforest family, which has owned Château Angélus in Saint-Emilion for eight generations.
At the Cape Wine Auction on 9th and 10th February, Hubert de Boüard de Laforest represented Château Angélus with a lot consisting of an Imperial of Château Angélus 2011, a stay at the local Saint-Emilion hotel Logis de La Cadène and a private tasting and tour of Château Angélus. This two-day auction celebrates South African wines on the world stage, while inviting sector professionals to a charitable event that supports the education and seeks to improve the life of children living in the Cape winegrowing region.
This month, Jean-Bernard Grenié, accompanied by Bong Grelat Tram, travelled to Australia and Shanghai for a series of tasting dinners with great wine enthusiasts, collectors and wine professionals. Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal led masterclasses in California, in San Francisco and the Napa Valley. Victoire Touton presented Château Angélus in New York and Chicago.
